Hello, hello, Fellow Musers, welcome to this post of words!
Before we begin, I invite you to take a breath.
Hold it for 2 seconds.
Slowly release it out.
I invite you to read these words with a clear mind, while allowing your mind to wander everywhere and nowhere at once yet staying clear of anything distracting.
For.
This is a Musing about words.
Words that are typed.
Not spoken nor written with a writing utensil.
Words that get read.
Thoughts that get written out.
Yeah, that’s what this post is suppose to be about.
But Fellow Musers, guess what today is?
It’s April 1st, a day we use to affiliate with humor.
Perhaps we still do.
Perhaps we still don’t.
Affiliate April 1st.
With.
Good humor.
Bad humor.
This Musing’s humor be not spoken, but simply written.
Even though there is a recording of me speaking these words.
Oh the irony!
Oh, hi there humor!
Humor that probably shouldn’t be written out but it gets written out anyways.
Humor that sounds better written and not spoken out loud.
Humor that when spoken out loud may or may not still make sense.
So what’s so funny about this little post on this specific day?
You ask yourself this as you continue to read, hoping that something will make sense as you continue to read and ask yourself, “Where the fuck is this writing going?”
I invite you to pause.
Take a deep breath.
Hold for 2 seconds.
And then slowly release it.
Do those last three one more time.
Take a deep breath.
Hold for 2 seconds.
And then slowly release it.
Read on.
This specific writing for this specific post is not suppose to take you anywhere except to wherever your mind wishes to roam.
Hidden somewhere in this writing is humor that is neither cruel nor funny.
It simply is.
Because sometimes.
Simply being.
Can be humorous.
I hope everyone has a good April 1st, 2024.
May we all, just for today, remember:
~That we all be fools.
~That even the people who convince you (or at least try to convince you) that they aren’t fools are indeed fools themselves.
~And that it’s okay to read a simple post that has words that are put together.
In a way that allows us to give our minds permission.
To.
Just.
Wander.
To relax so that we can make some mental room.
To read something else fulfilling and possibly educating.
Without giving ourselves a mind numbing headache.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
I hope wanderlessly reading.
These words on this post.
Has made your mind and brain.
Feel less stressed.
More relaxed.
And might possibly help you to focus.
On whatever it is.
That you need to focus on.
Carpe Diem
and
Huzzah!

P.S. This simple post was inspired by our favorite Curious Platypus’ Halloween post written back in October of 2023. This post was originally written out on Nov. 22, 2023, with a recording added later (and…also later…re-done a few times over). Special Shoutout to my loving partner for previewing an earlier version of this and giving me feedback💞
Although this post is titled Artist’s Corner: Words, it is a rare Musing# that has no number, and will forever be a part of Musings of an Anthropology Student main page :) Carpe Diem and Huzzah!
P.S.S. If you’re feeling down, click here to see a special message from someone back in the late 1980’s! I was inspired to include the clip by this random article brought to us by the Firefox search page!
Really really loved this! I definitely need to take those deep breaths and I also love the bonus YouTube video at the end. This truly served it’s purpose to give my mind space to wander, relax, read at ease ✨
Thank you for this fun and uplifting post!
