Thanks, Kimber. My favorite of the listed quotes is the one from Oscar Wilde. It reminds me of what I tell myself often- Try, even tho I fail, to be the best possible version of myself while I am on this earth.
I find your thought about the Oscar Wilde quote interesting. I do agree with your thought, though, to try and be the best possible version of oneself!
My interpretation of the Oscar Wilde quote: Don't be afraid to live, even if that means making mistakes. Come out of your comfort zone and expand your horizons. For me, the most recent of that was moving outside of my hometown where I didn't really know anyone at the time I moved, and getting another degree. Another was bringing in two cats who remind me everyday what unconditional love is.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this quote! I'm excited to hear your thoughts on the next MQuotes post I do <3
I guess, for me, it feels like one of this quotes that covers so many things. Learning something, writing a book, setting out on a goal, even self-becoming. And so, I think what I like about it is the many levels it hits simultaneously.
I've been spending a few days thinking of a response to this, and the only one I can come up with is that I agree with you-the quote does seem to hit alot of levels simultaneously. I also agree with your examples of what it covers😊
When I first saw the Lao Tzu quote, I vaguely remember doubting if I should have been continuing on the path of a degree-but I had already taken that single step and not being one to give up on something, I somehow kept finding ways to keep going ^_^
I really appreciate that you took some time to consider your response Kimber. That means a lot. And yes, once we’ve taken those first few steps, we might as well keep going. I think that’s another powerful part of that quote — the idea that sometimes things seem so far out of our reach (the journey of a thousand miles) but we just have to take it one step at a time. :)

I love the Lao Tzu one :)
Thank you, Michael ^_^
I'd like to know, what does the Lao Tzu quote bring to mind for you?
Hmmm 🤔 Good question!
