Special Shout Out!
I would also like to take this moment and give a Shout Out to my FIRST Monthly subscriber! This Fellow Muser upgraded from a Free Sub to a Monthly Paid Sub! I know who they are, they know who they are, and I just want to say, from my whole heart, Thank You So Much!!!
Friendly Reminder
A Paid Subscription for this Substack is:
—>$6 for a Month
—>$35 for a Year
I know not everyone can do it, but upgrading to a paid subscription (even if it’s just for a month) can very much help a writer on this platform. Your paying sub can make the difference between:
A writer having to choose which bill to pay or if they can get their furbabies a large food bag that will last them about 3-4 months or downgrade to a smaller food bag that will last the furkids a month
←→
To a writer being able to pay all of their bills as well as getting the bigger food bag that will last the furbabies about 3-4 months.
No, I’m not begging y’all to upgrade…immediately. I’m just laying out a hypothetical scenario that is theoretically a reality for some people. I know not all writers on this platform offer a choice for free and upgrade to paid. Some just flat-out paywall their stuff and don’t offer a choice.
Another reminder: I plan to keep 95% of my writings available for free always!
Alrighty, that is my last spiel in a section of a post about upgrading to a paid subscription for now. Thank you again to my first monthly subscriber, as well as to my first yearly subscriber from November!
Onward!

On a personal and education note, I’m doing alright this semester. I had my first exam on Feb. 10, and I’m still waiting on the results. I’ll have my next exam on March 12, and then the week after will be Spring Break! But my mid/late 30’s self ain’t the partying type, so no Miami-style beach party for me4! I’ll be snuggling with my kitties, and chillaxing!
How about y’all? Got any plans for the end of winter and the upcoming season of Spring? Feel free to share in the comments!
Thank you again to Chemi, Strom, and Laura for joining this community! Thank you to both free and paying Fellow Musers for your subscriptions-it’s always because of you that I get the courage and gain the inspiration to write and create💜💞
As always, Carpe Diem, Huzzah, and Purrzah!

and starting at $5, you can help support Musings of an Anthropology Student once or as many times as you’d like!
Credit always to Russel Nohelty for that term
I may have it out before then, but I’m making March 17th my hard deadline!
But not in the same way that a certain Ancient Egyptian god did (iykyk😉)
I wasn’t really a party girl in my 20’s either, so this chillaxing-style tracks!
Thank you, Kimber, Salem & Nalia for the special shoutout! We are truly grateful!! With luvluvluv from Conversations with Critters!
