Hello hello Fellow Musers! I hope y’all enjoyed a nice, peaceful-ish holiday, or if you don’t celebrate Thanksgiving, a nice, long and hopefully peaceful-ish weekend! Before I get into what will probably become my annual reminder of be nice to the retail workers during the holiday season shtick, we have some Fellow Musers who have joined this smol-yet-ever-growing corner of Substack, and we need to properly welcome them. Huzzah!

And now for my annual plea reminder to be nice to retail workers this season:
A Note-Tice To My Fellow Consumers:
Please be nice to the retail workers who help you this season! I know, I know-you want what you want, and dammit, you want it NOW! And they’re not getting it to you fast enought! Or finding it quick enought! Or they don’t have enough cashiers to check out everyone who decided to all go to the check out line AT THE SAME TIME!
*takes a deep breath and calms the fuck down*
As a fellow consumer of the things, I get it. But you and I don’t have to be demanding dipshit assholes about it!1 Remember, retail workers are giving up precious sleep hours to be at the store during undeity hours to help you with whatever you desperately need to get-either for yourself or for someone else. Remember, you can also order from the store online, and have it delivered so you don’t have to deal with that poor human who may be wishing that they were anywhere but where they are right now. Or that there were one or two temporary self-check out stations to help stave off the long-ass lines. Also, if you order delivery-whether it be food, drinks, retail, books, e-reading devices, or whatever-be nice to your delivery drivers! And postal workers!
(Side Note-Tice: If you’re able to-tips of money really do go a long way!)
A Note-Tice To Workers:
If you are a retail worker who had to work during the long weekend, may your personal deity bless you and I hope you only had to deal with a few dipshit assholes, and not a majority of dipshit assholes! And remember, once you clock out and are able to become a consumer to be nice and patient with your fellow retail worker, delivery driver, postal worker and don’t be a dipshit asshole. Thank you.
A Note-Tice to Everyone:
I hope everyone got some good deals this weekend and were very nice to the workers who were paid I mean, uh, happily obligated to help you in any way that they genuinely could! As someone who spent 3 years working in retail, I personally try not to be a dipshit asshole when going out on Black Friday. Sometimes I have no choice but to go out that weekend-my birthday tends to either fall directly on the Turkey/Ham Day (like it did this year), during the holiday (like it did last year), or shortly after the holiday (like it’s done in previous years) and well, I still like to celebrate it, even with the crowds. I truly sympathize with people who were born on Christmas Day or any other holiday where gifts are exchanged, and while I encourage my fellow holiday birthdayers to be a tad bit selfish on the asking of extra gifts (but not enough to have Santa encourage Krampus to give you a visit), may we all remember to not be dipshit assholes!
One More Thing:
Due to some unexpected life things, I have not been able to focus too much on my November posts. I apologize about that-I was on a roll with my shit, and then got hit with a weird manic depression. Not sure how else to describe it. It’s been a weird few weeks. But I have been working on both November posts. The final Part 3 of the We Fear What We Do Not Know mini-series will be released sometime in this upcoming week/weekend (because I will need a break from working and studying, and writing on here is my Happy Place. Squeee!). The nice thing about getting a holiday from school-you get to relax and work on fun things, or at least relax your mind a bit!
On another note, you will probably not hear from me much during the first half of December. I will be focusing on studying and taking what I hope will be my final final exams for undergrad! I will also be walking the stage on Dec. 13th! Woot! Huzzah! I am planning on releasing an Artist’s Corner post (it’s about time as it’s been a while!) and a Musing Special focused on Winter Holidays (because I won’t delulu myself into thinking I can write it because I’ll actually be able to write it! Huzzah!) Check out my semi-consistently updated posting schedule on my About page for a schedule of upcoming posts!
First Yearly Paid Subscriber!!!
I would also like to give a special Shout Out to the Fellow Muser who is one of the above recently joined AND who subscribed with a Yearly paid sub-my first Yearly paid sub ever so far! You know who you are, I know who you are, I’m not gonna re-shout-out your name, but I do want to publicly say, “Thank you soooooo much!” You have truly made my weekend!
I almost cried happy tears y’all-I still want to! It really is special and encouraging to get that paid sub, especially when you’re not expecting it and you don’t have anything specific at the moment for a paying subscriber, but they still sign up immediately for a paid sub anyways because they want to support you in that way.
Okay, other than the captioned subscribe button, I promise I will be quiet about pushing paid subs for now and continue to let you, dear Fellow Muser, decide if my work is worthy of your hard-earned coin. Either way, free or paid, I still and always appreciate your support💜💞
That’s all for now Folks!
Okay, welp, that’s all I have right now! Thank you again to the new Fellow Musers who have joined this space! Thank you always to you Fellow Musers who continue to stick around! I hope everyone stays safe, regardless of if you’re working, traveling or having a stay-cation! Carpe Diem and Huzzah!

Just so you know, I am also including myself in this whole dipshit assholery calling out thing. Please don’t @ me.
I will eventually do a political post about the election and its results, and yes, I am planning on occasionally signing off like this until the next presidential election. Just so y’all know, I will make sure that my political post will look at all sides. I know I currently might sound left leaning, but I personally consider myself a moderate centrist who is conservative about some things and liberal about other things, with no obligation to any political party, including Independent. I personally would love to have at least 5 main political parties that no one has to register with unless someone is running for office. Anyways, ‘nough said about that, enjoy your evening!
